The ETC-974 is a high-performance, double-sensor microcomputer temperature controller specifically designed for medium and low-temperature refrigeration units. It manages cooling, defrosting, and fan functions independently.

Basic Operation
- Access User Menu: Press and release the SET key to view and modify the target temperature.
- Access Administrator Menu: Press and hold SET for more than 5 seconds. If prompted for a password (PA1), the factory default is usually 000 or 111.
- Manual Defrost: Press and hold the UP (▲) key for 5 seconds to manually initiate a defrost cycle.
Wiring Overview
- Terminals 1 & 2: Power supply input (230VAC).
- Terminal 3: Common line for relays.
- Terminal 4: Refrigeration (Compressor) output.
- Terminal 5: Defrosting output.
- Terminal 6: Fan output.
- Terminals 7–10: Inputs for the two NTC temperature probes.
